A mix of threads of different colors forms a fabric with a pattern reminiscent of the surface of polished slabs of marble chips. The more contrasting the colors of the fibers or yarns, the more expressive and colorful the finished fabric.

Interesting: In order for cotton for high-quality “marbled” fabric to dye evenly, it must be equally mature and grown (preferably) in the same region. The shade of the threads obtained by mixing yarns cannot be reproduced by dyeing raw yarn.

Care

But there are general rules:

Mixed coloring eliminates the use of tint conditioners.
Bleach will ruin the product.
Use caution when washing in very hot water and using aggressive detergents. They can ruin the quality of the paint.

GOST 29298-2005 applies to finished fabrics, including melange fabrics, which must not only comply with approved standard samples, but also meet the requirements of state standards for such indicators as:

Resistant to abrasion and breaking load.
Compliance with physical and hygienic standards (air permeability, hygroscopicity, specific surface electrical resistance, formaldehyde content).
Compliance with linear dimensions and surface density.
