Next, the entire fabric of the product is knitted according to the pattern of the third row.

Method 2

This method is simpler than the previous one. Here is its description diagram:

1st row: regular elastic band 1X1.
2nd row: slip the last (edge) stitch. Remove the knit stitch from the previous row together with the yarn over without knitting. Knit each purl loop according to the pattern (i.e., purl). Do the same until the end of the row.
