The methods for removing old and new coffee stains are slightly different, and each method has a number of features. Coffee stains, like any other stain, are easier to remove when the stain is fresh.

You need to start removing coffee stains from white clothes as quickly as possible. The fabric is immediately soaked in plenty of warm water. There is no need to even try to remove coffee stains with ordinary washing agents - the contaminated area can easily increase in size.
Even before the advent of bleach and aggressive household chemicals, people used traditional methods to remove stains. Today, these methods work just as well and deserve attention.
Laundry soap
The inside of the area of clothing moistened with water is rubbed with a dry piece of laundry soap. Then the white item is rinsed several times in cold water. This method works great on cotton, wool and silk white clothes. But only fresh stains can be washed off well with soap.

After this, the item is immediately rinsed in warm water. You can secure the result by adding 50 ml of ammonia to the washing water. After this, the clothes should be washed again, this time with regular washing powder for whites.
Salt
Dried, but not old, coffee stains can be easily washed off clothes in a saline solution. For 3 liters of cold water use 6-7 tablespoons of kitchen salt. The white item is soaked for 15-20 minutes, after which the fabric is washed using powder or laundry soap.
Important! Salt paired with laundry soap dries the skin very much, so you need to wear gloves.
Glycerol
Glycerin is commonly used to remove old coffee stains. The product is heated until warm, then the dirty area is moistened with a napkin and left for 3-4 hours until completely dry. White clothes are finally washed with ordinary powder and dried without squeezing.
You can also wash coffee off a white shirt with a mixture of glycerin and salt. Use 1:1 proportions, apply the solution to a fresh stain and rub it with a brush from the wrong side of the clothing. Then the shirt or blouse is rinsed in warm water and machine washed again, choosing a mode suitable for the fabric.
Vinegar
You should only work with vinegar while wearing gloves, even if you use a diluted solution! The method is effective for getting rid of both fresh and dried stains. To remove contamination, mix:

The oil method is good for removing old coffee marks. To obtain the solution you need ceramic or glassware. You need to mix 35 ml of oil, 25 g. iodized salt.

- Soda. Add half a teaspoon of baking soda to 1 liter of water. Soak your clothes in the solution. Prepare a solution of laundry detergent (in the same proportion). Soak your clothes in it. Wash in washing machine.
- Vinegar. 1 tsp. mix acetic acid with 1 tsp. soda Rub the resulting mixture into the contaminated area. Leave for 30 minutes. Wash as usual.
- Ammonia. 6 tsp. Dissolve ammonia in 1 liter of water, add soap shavings. Pour the solution into the basin in which you wash the item. Then put it in the washing machine.

You can remove coffee stains from white clothes in a short time using special products. However, household chemicals must be used with caution so that the wrong concentration of the solution does not damage the fabric.
Stain remover

It is not difficult to remove coffee using borax. Additionally, you will need ethyl alcohol and milk. It is necessary to soak a cotton pad in alcohol and leave it to soak the stain for about 10 minutes. Then rinse your clothes, thoroughly wipe the remaining coffee with a solution of 30 ml of borax and 50 ml of milk. Finally, wash at 30°C.
Ammonia
Ammonia will help remove coffee stains even on fabrics such as wool or synthetics.
- Boil 350 ml of water;
- Mix with 55 ml of alcohol;
- Add 50 g of crushed laundry soap;
- Stir until smooth;
- Melt in a water bath, cool;
- Use the resulting solution to wipe the contaminated area several times;

Lemon juice

Vinegar

Oil
